AlphaGroup supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness
OCTOBER 1, 2021October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and to spread the word about mammograms. In 2021, it’s estimated that about 30% of newly diagnosed cancers in women will be breast cancers.
There are many ways to support the cause in addition to wearing pink ribbons. We at AlphaGroup Medical Communications “Go Pink” 365 days a year supporting various pharmaceutical clients and their assets dedicated to fighting breast cancer.
“The AlphaGroup is grateful to support our oncology clients in their endeavors to develop new therapies for breast cancer. It’s an exciting time to be involved in this research and scientific communications. We are incredibly proud to be a part of the development and introduction of these life-changing medicines,” said Meryl Gersh, Senior Vice President, Head of Scientific Services, AlphaGroup.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month has done a world of good for National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF), but awareness is only the first step. Taking action together will result in the strongest impact for the millions of women who have been diagnosed with or are at high risk of developing breast cancer. Join NBCF this October “to get her” access to the screening, education, and support that she needs.
